HOW " RINGS"  WERE USED IN THE BIBLE

Genesis 41:42-43
And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt

Esther 3:10

And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews' enemy. And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.

Esther 8:2
And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

Luke 15:22
But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

FACTS
MANY people has been asking me questions about the use of rings in the bible,
I decided to write this to elucidate what Jesus meant when the prodigal son was decorated with a ring.
The ring Jesus was referring to is SIGNET, used to sign, approve or authorize documents or letters in those days

kings stamp in those days are done inform of rings, they wore it in their fingers, because if left on a table the kingdom can be in danger if anyone Stamp a document with it , and send it into the kingdom that document swill be honoured.

Most rich men and noble men ,even Generals have their own signet that stays in their fingers always to avoid confusion, the father of the prodigal son is described as one in this category. He was restoring his second son into authority that is why the second son ,was angry about his run-away brother status after prodigality.

In our generation signet has become STAMP not in the finger but in rubber, iron, and even electronics. So kings or leaders don't carry signet again.
There is no where a wedding took place that ring was used as instrument of joining a couple DONT PLACE GOLD OR SILVER ABOVE GODS WORD USE THE BIBLE TO WED.

THEREFORE.....
the ring in the finger is not scriptural
The ring in the leg is inniciation
The ring in the nose is worldliness
The ring in the ear is slavery
The ring in the eyes in carnality
The ring in the lips is madness.....
