Lucifer the arch angel was specially made to lead worship he was handsome, and every time he leads the other angel God is pleased this was heaven situation until ....Isaiah 14 verse 12-15.

Lucifer (meaning morning star )was carried away by his beauty and pride was found in him at this point God can not allow a vessel that is compromised to worship him Lucifer did not ask for mercy or cleansing
God had to order another angel called Michael to get him out of heaven revelations 12 verses 7.
The battle ground was the earth in those days the earth was closer to the heavens Lucifer was CAST OUT he was now renamed SATAN, DEVIL, DRAGON. he can't stay in heaven because of rebellion and pride.
